Breakdancing League Comes to Westchester

Yonkers Arts is thrilled to announce the launch of the city’s inaugural Competitive Breakdancing League, spearheaded by the renowned London Reyes, also known as B-Boy London.

This groundbreaking program will focus on the education, practice, and competitive sport of the art of ‘Breaking’, marking a significant milestone in the cultural and artistic landscape of Yonkers. The league will span four months of intensive instruction and exhilarating competition. The program is poised to become one of the cornerstones of the community’s youth engagement initiatives. London Reyes, or B-Boy London, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the league.

As a celebrated figure in the breakdancing community, Reyes is dedicated to mentoring young talent and promoting the positive impact of the arts. "This league is more than just a competition; it's about building confidence, discipline, and a sense of community among the youth," Reyes stated.
